Melting Pot Cafe
The Melting Pot/ Y Grochan Flasus opened its door on the 13th of November 2010, at The Old Red Lion in Penygroes, Gwynedd.
We had a great day with a steady stream of customers that resulted in a long to do list for the next few days. We had fun in the kitchen!!
The café provides a friendly and relaxed environment in which to enjoy a paned/cuppa, cake, breakfast, snacks or full hot/cold meal. Both traditional and exotic tastes are catered for. Depending on your choice, food can be eaten in or taken away. It is currently open from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm every day apart from Sunday.
Service is generally bilingual and Maggie can be heard throwing in her two pennies worth of Welsh from time to time. We have a little shopping corner called The Gog Shop, or for us Welsh speakers Siop Y Gog, where we stock local produce and gifts.
